Labor Law, with its broad definition, is a legal discipline that encompasses all of the legal rules that regulate business and working life. Workers and employers are the basic elements of Labor Law. Labor Law rules determine the rights and duties of the employee and employer. Disputes between the parties are also resolved within the framework of the provisions of this branch of law.

Labor Law tends to protect workers’ rights, provided that it does not violate the employer’s rights. The abuse of labor and the pressures on the worker have been the subject of various discussions since the day the worker-employer relations existed. Labor Law has provided a solution to these disputes with the rules that clearly and clearly regulate the relations between employers and employees.

The subject of Labor Law is examined under two headings as individual labor law and collective labor law. Individual labor law; examines the issues of employee-employer relationship, termination of employee-employer relationship and the consequences of termination of employment relationship. Collective labor law, on the other hand, includes regulations on collective bargaining agreements, unionization movements, strikes and lockouts, disputes of rights and interests, and arbitration rules.

Social Security Law, which is examined under the title of Labor Law; It is the legal discipline that regulates the relations between individuals and social insurance, social services and social assistance. Social security systems; consists of social services, social benefits and social insurance. Labor courts are the competent court in labor law disputes.
